This resource is designed for Sunday school, small group and individual study. Let Becoming a Contagious Christian revitalize your passion for evangelism and enable you to fulfill Christ's Great Commission!

Connecting
By: Larry Crabb
Dr. Crabb envisions a day when communities of God's people - ordinary Christians whose lives connect as husband to wife, brother to sister, friend to friend - will accomplish most of the healing that we now depend on mental health professionals to provide.
God has deposited within us the power to heal soul-disease and that power is released to do its work as we relate to each other in revolutionary new ways. In challenging, practical language, Dr. Crabb shows us how. This revised and updated edition now includes a full workbook for those who want to better learn how to connect with the hearts and souls of those around them.

Disappointment with God
By: Phillip Yancey
In Disappointment with God, Yancey tackles the questions caused by a God who doesn't always do what we think he's supposed to do. Insightful and deeply personal, Yancey points to the odd disparity between our concept of God and the realities of life. Why, if God is so hungry for relationship with us, does he seem so distant? Why, if he cares for us, do bad things happen? What can we expect from him after all? Yancey answers these questions with clarity, richness, and biblical assurance.
A Gold Medallion Award Winner, Disappointment with God has had an overwhelming impact on many lives. If you're struggling through difficult questions about God, you'll find this volume indispensable.

Everybody's Normal Till You Get to Know Them
By: John Ortberg
Since Christians often talk about community as one of their highest ideals it is shocking when they realize that, as Henri Nouwen insightfully noted, "Community is the place where the person you least want to live with always lives." Fortunately, John Ortberg shares our passion for community and is able to teach us how to live with and love one another. With the insight of a counselor and the heart of a pastor, Ortberg has written one of the best contemporary considerations of community.

Honest to God? Becoming an Authentic Christian
By: Bill Hybels
You believe in God, right? So do your everyday choices reflect that belief or do you leave your faith hidden? Bill Hybels examines 12 areas in which Christians in today's complex world often live inconsistently - areas such as work, family life, marriage values, male and female role models, emotional life, physical fitness, and spiritual disciplines. This practical, down-to-earth book includes a study guide for personal or group use. 208 pages, softcover from Zondervan.
